Why Proper AO Smith RO Installation Matters

Many homeowners in Pune unknowingly damage their expensive AO Smith RO systems by relying on cheap, untrained installers. Here is why correct installation is critical:

• Better Water Quality: Correct flushing and filter alignment ensures the purest water output from day one.
• Maximum Membrane Lifespan: Proper inlet pressure and pre-filter use protect the costly RO membrane from premature damage.
• Zero Leakage: Tight, food-grade fittings prevent water leaks and water damage to your kitchen cabinets.
• Lower Water Wastage: Optimised drain ratio reduces reject water — saving thousands of litres every year.
• Warranty Protection: AO Smith warranty stays intact only when installation is done by trained, certified professionals.
• Electrical Safety: Proper SMPS connection prevents short circuits, board damage, and fire risks.

Before your AO Smith RO installation in Pune: water, space, power

AO Smith units sit in many premium societies in Magarpatta, Kalyani Nagar and Balewadi, where kitchens come with a modular layout and a ready water point.

Pashan and Kothrud houses may need pipe adaptors. Because Pune's municipal supply has low TDS, the fitter usually sets the unit to preserve minerals instead of fully stripping them.

Questions about AO Smith RO installation in Pune

Will AO Smith installation damage my modular kitchen in Pune?
The fitter marks the drill points with you first and uses a bracket compatible with the wall; discuss placement before drilling.

Can AO Smith be installed on a tanker-fed supply in Pune?
Yes, but TDS may vary. The fitter measures it and advises a pre-filter if the water is silty.

Will installation harm my modular kitchen in Magarpatta?
The fitter plans the mount and pipe route to avoid damage and shows you before drilling.

Why do Kothrud houses need pipe adaptors?
Older pipes in Kothrud houses use different fittings from the RO connector. Adaptors let the unit connect safely, and the fitter checks the pipe condition before joining it.

Can an AO Smith run on tanker water in Balewadi?
Yes, but tanker quality changes between deliveries. Add a sediment filter and test the TDS so the unit is set for the water you really get.
